For organizations, cultural diversity is a major source of synergy though it may also entail  risks  to attitudes and behaviors.

Without limitation, cultural training gives several advantages such as:

  • Low number of early returns in international assignments;
  • Low relocation cost;
  • Improvement in the participant’s intercultural skills;
  • Participant’s better use of the assignment abroad;
  • Greater adaptability;
  • Greater satisfaction of host-nationals who choose to befriend and interact with  the expatriate;
  • Decrease in problems between the organization and  family members;
  • Increase in client prospection;
  • Decrease in cost to organizations with local and international communications;
  • Strengthening of organization’s image and trust in local communities...
